It was a dream come true pairing for me that I haven't had since Brad went to penske. This is a tough call no matter which way you see it.However I will say this.i am a die hard petty fan.and a huge fan of bubba.

Coupled that with a possible economic downturn to come throughout the next years makes teams favor sponsored drivers even more than normal. larson fucking up threw a huge wrech into silly season. The 14 i have hard time seeing him getting. So now it comes down to is bubba the better candidate/brings enough sponsors to able to move up to those rides. So that shortens the list of available rides for bubba.shr, rcr, jtg, roush, and maybe front row are the only prospects available.

I feel wwt would follow.but not at the price tag of rcr or rough level sponsorship.however maybe for 10 race deal amount if it absolutely was required for bubba to have a full time rideĬontroversy and personality.i like bubba.i like him both on and off the track.but that entails me also admitting that he can shoot himself in the foot time from time.as such I can't see squeaky clean teams like Hendrick or penske taking him in because of his past maneuvers. So a move anywhere up would require bubba to find "real" sponsorship. Next up is sponsorship.wwt really only sponsors bubba out of heart.they don't give much more than what rpm asks for a full season to run. So a move would require jerry to come to. Bubba will probably not let go of Jerry after years of trying to convince him to move up to cup.and now that Jerry has they are jelling like the their old kbm truck days. I think the main thing for bubba moving would be if he could bring his cc with him. He and Baxter seem to be a legit top 20 pairing, so hopefully whatever happens next he can retain him. It sounds weird but thanks for the conversation everbody, it's been really informative.īy the sounds of it the odds are low he gets a real upgraded ride next year, and he might be better off making it work on the team he's grown in. Could he upgrade? What would it take for him to do it? How did it work for him in the past? And I'm gaining new knowledge on that just by reading responses on this thread. Because I was wondering what situation the guy is in with regards to his ride. I have to say it's great to come here to r/NASCAR and just learn more about this system of sponsorships and contracts and how it works in this sport. And I would certainly love it if he could ever sneak out a win, especially considering how unlikely it is with this team. I love the backdrop of representing the Petty Legacy, there's a lot layers to him.
I love his personality, his personal transparency.
